COLOR THEORY

Color affects us in various ways–physically, as the brain perceives it, and energetically, based on the vibration of light. Colors can be healing, calming, and contemplative. They can also evoke passionate and grounded responses.  All emotions can be felt through color and, let’s face it, choosing a piece of art to memorialize a loved one, is an incredibly emotional time.

We offer a range of colors, and have the ability to customize color preferences with most of our art pieces.

Whether you are choosing a color that reminds you of your departed, or simply one of their favorites, this is a choice that you will want to make consciously.

I performed holistic studies on the spirituality of color and the psychology of color therapy and, to be clear, your relationship with color is personal, just like the relationship you have with your departed. 

Our mission is to educate you on the characteristics often associated with color. This will help to identify what color you are resonating with while on your journey to honor your loved one. Let’s run through our colors:

Amber: joyful, happy, energetic, bright, commands attention. Represents the Solar Plexus Chakra of self-esteem, will-power, inner strength, humor and intellect.

Blue Gray: romantic, nurturing, sincere, idealistic, enthusiastic, sympathetic. Represents the Throat Chakra of honesty and self-expression–speaks effectively and communicates well.

Green: healing power, desire for safety, stable, loyal, religious, honest, tranquil. Represents the Heart Chakra of love and self-love, harmony, growth, and nature.

Red: energetic, strong, powerful, determined, passionate, loving. Represents the Root Chakra of security, connection to the earth, both stability and spontaneity.

Royal Blue: unique, authentic, warm, compassionate, spiritual, peaceful, and meaning-of-life seeker. Represents the Third Eye Chakra of intuition and inner strength.

Royal Purple: wise, regal, soothing, calm, powerful, dignified, independent, creative. Represents the Crown Chakra of higher consciousness and relationships to a higher power.
